Two goals from Jonathan Delisle helped the Bracknell Beers to a surprise 3-0 home victory over Superleague leader Sheffield Steelers.

Bracknell's previous two wins in their last 16 games had come at the expense of Steelers and they continued their jinx.

It was the Yorkshire's side's third successive defeat.

Delisle put the Bees ahead in the seventh minute and doubled the advantage shortly afterwards.

Both Delisle and Darren Hurley hit the post as Bracknell dominated.

Sheffield, with netminder Trevor Prior in place of the suspended Joel Laing, had no answer.

Delisle capped a superb display, setting up Brad Peddle for a third nine minutes from time.
