| Giants held by Bees ![]() Colin Ward scored the opening goal for the Giants The Belfast Giants have now gone seven Superleague games since their last victory. Warming oup for their Challenge Cup semi-final against Nottingham Panthers, they had to settle for a draw against bottom club Bracknell Bees on Friday night. The Giants went ahead through Colin Ward on the powerplay. But Bracknell, without a victory in seven games going into the encounter, stunned the Belfast side by scoring three unanswered goals through Dan Ceman, Mike McBain and Tero Arkiomaa. Curt Bowen quickly cut the deficit and Robby Sandrock forced overtime, with neither side able to find a winner. Belfast iced just 12 skaters but hope to have Paxton Schulte and Kory Karlander fit for when they tackle the Panthers at Sheffield Arena on Sunday. | See also: 02 Dec 02 | Other Sports 02 Dec 02 | Other Sports 14 Aug 02 | N Ireland Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Other Sports stories now: Links to more Other Sports stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
