| Monday, 4 November, 2002, 14:03 GMT Vatanen on comeback trail ![]() The Paris-Dakar is one of motorsport's toughest events Former world rally champion Ari Vatanen is to enter the 2003 Dakar endurance race. The 50-year-old Finn will be seeking his fifth win in the gruelling event which begins in northern Europe and crosses the Sahara Desert. Vatanen, who is now a member of the European Parliament, will drive a Nissan in the race which starts on New Year's Day.
