Rice work - if you can get it Forget a large cheque, or even a trophy to put in the cabinet, a Malaysian golf championship has come up with a more unusual prize. The winner of the charity golf event organised by the Ex-servicemen's Association of Malaysia will walk away with two cows and a ton of rice. About 60 people, including the Raja of Perlis, are expected to take part in the competition at the Putra Golf Club in Kangar. But the winner of Sunday's event won't get to keep the prize for long and will have to share the spoils. The cows and rice will be eaten in a feast for all competitors after the event. Paying the price for a naked encounter Irish gaelic games stadium Croke Park does not normally welcome foreign games being played on its hallowed turf. But two students decided to stretch the association's rules when they used the Dublin ground for a romantic encounter earlier this month. After climbing into the ground over a gate, the pair were discovered by two Gardai who were on protection duty the night before the All-Ireland hurling final, between Kilkenny and Clare. John Clarke was discovered by Gardai lying next to his girlfriend Sinead Duffy, who was described in court as being "in a state of undress". The pair ended up pleading guilty at the Dublin District Court to trespassing with intent and were fined 500 euros (�315) each. Red Devils out for turf triumph A group of Manchester United players are trying to get the better of their manager - on the race track. After the success of Sir Alex Ferguson's horse Rock of Gibraltar, United players including Ryan Giggs and Juan Sebastian Veron are looking for their own horse. According to the Daily Star, they are currently speaking to owners for a couple of promising colts after putting �100,000 together. They hope that their choice will allow them to regain bragging rights in the dressing-room after their manager's successes this year.
