Jermaine Lawson and Sulieman Benn claimed three wickets each as an inexperienced Sussex side were all out with more than 14 overs of their innings remaining. But the tourists, who were dismissed for 77 by Sri Lanka on Wednesday, again showed frailty with the bat before scraping home. Skipper Daren Ganga and Dwayne Bravo were the only players to pass 20, but all-rounder Gareth Breese kept his head to complete the win with 3.3 overs to spare. Sussex chose to bat first after winning the toss but offered little resistance after Dominic Clapp (43) and Will House (28) had been removed by Tino Best and Marlon Black. Spinner Benn bowled his 10 overs impressively for figures of three for 23 and Lawson returned figures of three for 29 after brining the innings to a close by bowling Jason Lewry for a duck. West Indies A soon lost Devon Smith in reply but appeared to be coasting to victory as they progressed to 80 for two. The loss of Bravo (27) and Ganga (29) in quick succession resulted in panic setting in, however, with home skipper Tony Cottey - only an occasional bowler - taking two for 19. But Sussex did not have enough runs in the bank and Breese ground out an unbeaten 13 in 53 minutes at the crease to settle the outcome.
