Baxter went one better this year |
Skiing star Alain Baxter saw off a top-quality field to be crowned Superstars champion of 2005. Baxter, runner-up to Du'aine Ladejo last year, reversed the positions - clinching victory with second place in the gym tests.
The Scot won three events in total - the 100m sprint, kayaking and the mountain bike competition - where he set a new Superstars record.
Baxter had 38 points, ahead of Ladejo (36.5) and rower Steve Williams (23).
