Brian Hooper is the shock entrant in this year's competition, at the tender age of 50. A former Superstars world champion, the former pole vaulter will lack nothing in experience and knowledge of the events.
But he was called up at the last minute and has expressed his disappointment at not being given more time to prepare his creaking body for combat.
Injuries permitting, don't discount Hooper from springing a big surprise in technical events like the kayak and the gym tests.
Endurance events like the 800m might prove a bridge too far.
