Digital Cable Telewest BBCi is working with digital cable platform Telewest to try to develop a multistream service in time for Wimbledon 2002. This would give Telewest viewers the chance to choose between the match being shown on digital BBC ONE and BBC TWO, as well as matches on up to four other show courts around SW19. If the platform isn't able to support multistream video, BBCi has developed a comprehensive text-based service to make sure they don't miss out. This features all the latest news from Wimbledon, including scores, news, reports, results, experts' view, draw and order of play. Viewers also get access to the message boards, allowing them to exchange views and comments about the Championships with other e-mail users. NTL
