Nottingham Open defending champion Ivo Karlovic has become the fifth player to sign up for this year's tournament.

The Croatian, who stands 6 feet 10 inches tall, beat Arnaud Clement in the 2007 final to claim his first ATP tour victory on grass.

Karlovic, ranked 21 in the world, could again face Dmitry Tursunov, who he beat in last year's semi-final.

Tursunov is one of the other confirmed players, along with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Michael Llodra and Sam Querrey.
