Murray and Huber played together for the first time in New York |
Jamie Murray missed out in his bid to win a second consecutive Grand Slam title as he and Liezel Huber lost in the US Open mixed doubles semi-finals. The pair went down 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 10-5 to India's Leander Paes and American Meghann Shaughnessy on the Grandstand Court at Flushing Meadows.
Murray and Huber were two points from victory at one stage.
They appeared to get a bad line call which the umpire refused to overrule in the deciding champions tie-break.
Briton Murray won the Wimbledon mixed title with Jelena Jankovic in July.
