Jamie Murray succeeded where younger brother Andy failed by winning back-to-back ATP Tour titles on Sunday. He teamed up with Eric Butorac to win the doubles at the Memphis International to add to last week's success at the SAP Open in San Jose.
Murray, 21, and Butorac beat Julien Knowle and Jurgen Melzer 7-5 6-3, with a single break enough in each set.
The Scot moves up nine places in Monday's new doubles rankings to a career high of 44 in the world.
On Saturday, Andy Murray, 19, who successfully defended his singles title in San Jose, lost in the semi-finals of the Memphis singles to Andy Roddick.
The British number one remains at 13 in the singles world rankings, while Roddick moves up to number three despite losing to Tommy Haas in Sunday's final.
