Henman finished the season ranked 39th in the world |
Tim Henman has recovered sufficiently from a knee injury to confirm he will play an exhibition match at London's Royal Albert Hall on 5 December. The British number two will take on an as yet unannounced opponent to raise money for his charity Kids at Heart.
The match will take place during the week of the Blackrock Masters, which will feature the likes of Goran Ivanisevic and John McEnroe.
"I love playing in front of the home crowd," said Henman.
"And to play alongside so many true legends makes it a really fun evening."
Henman's season ended with defeat by Stanislas Wawrinka in Basle last month, leaving him ranked 39th in the world.
The Briton picked up an injury during the match but a scan revealed only inflammation of the hamstring and right knee.
