Scottish teenager Andrew Murray has been handed a wildcard for next week's Stella Artois Championships at the Queen's Club in London. Murray is the reigning US Open boys' champion and will be joined by fellow 18-year-old Gael Monfils from France, the world junior champion for 2004.
Murray made a winning Davis Cup debut for Great Britain in March, but has only played one event on the ATP tour.
Next week's tournament will be his senior debut on home soil.
Murray, who seems certain to also be handed a wildcard for Wimbledon, has been warned not too set his expectations too high at Queen's.
"It's going to be a nice tournament for him," said Emilio Sanchez, who runs the Sanchez-Casal academy in Barcelona, where Murray trains.
"What he needs is to get used to this level of tennis.
"Andrew is a great talent and he has a promising future in front of him, but there is still a long way for him to go and it's not the same to win in the juniors as on the main tour."
Among the big names on view at Queen's will be Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick.
