Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong, Jane O'Donoghue, Katie O'Brien and Sarah Borwell will represent Great Britain in the Fed Cup in Turkey next month. A total of 16 teams, including Greece, Israel, Serbia and Montenegro and South Africa will compete to earn promotion to July's World Group II Play-offs.
"Elena is in fantastic form and it's a boost to have Anne back after her injuries," said team coach Nick Brown.
"We are really looking forward to the challenge ahead."
The matches will take place at the Club Ali bey Manavgat, Antalya, Turkey on outdoor red clay courts, starting on 18 April, with Katie O'Brien and Sarah Borwell making their Fed Cup debuts.
"I am delighted to be able to include Katie and Sarah in this squad," said Brown.
"Fed Cup is a fantastic chance to represent your country and I know both of them will be relishing this opportunity."
