Tim Henman got his Masters Cup campaign back on track with a straight-sets win over Guillermo Coria on Thursday. The pressure was on both men after they lost their opening matches but it was Henman who got the all-important victory, coming through 6-2 6-2.
Henman must now beat Marat Safin in his final group match to make sure of a semi-final place.
Andy Roddick beat Safin 7-6 (9-7) 7-6 (7-4) in Thursday's second match to qualify for the semi-finals.
After three days of rain at the Westside Tennis Club, players, fans and officials would have been delighted to see bright sunshine on Thursday.

Henman had been encouraged by his form despite defeat to Roddick on Tuesday, and his confidence proved well founded. Coria, playing his first tournament since July following shoulder surgery, did not have the power on serve to trouble the Briton.
The first break came in game three and relentless pressure from Henman at the net saw Coria drop serve three more times.
"It's nice to have a performance like this," said Henman.

"He's struggling with his serve. It's easy to fall into a trap. If you let him dictate in the rallies he can be very dangerous. It's nice to go out there and play with the discipline." Roger Federer has already qualified from the red group, with Carlos Moya and Lleyton Hewitt vying for the second spot.
