World number one Amelie Mauresmo will meet Lindsay Davenport in the final of the Porsche Grand Prix in Filderstadt. Frenchwoman Mauresmo beat US Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova 7-5 6-4 while Davenport beat another Russian Anastasia Myskina 6-2 6-4.
Mauresmo survived several break points to take the opening set and from 3-0 down in the second, she reeled off five consecutive games to ease to victory.
Davenport had a similar recovery - from 4-1 down, she took the second set 6-4.
The American, who is the second seed, has played in two previous finals in Filderstadt, winning one and losing one.
It was Mauresmo's third victory over Kuznetsova this year and confirms that she will remain on top of the world rankings after the tournament.
