Ferrero heads Rotterdam line-up
Juan Carlos Ferrero
Juan Carlos Ferrero is the top seed in Rotterdam
After an opening six weeks of the season that has seen Andre Agassi dominate the men's tour, the American steps aside and gives the rest a chance this week.

A strong field heads for Rotterdam and the indoor event rather unimaginatively named World Tennis Tournament.

Juan Carlos Ferrero is the top seed ahead of Roger Federer, who goes into the tournament on the back of a victory in Marseille.

Marat Safin will look to kick-start his season after just four victories since the turn of the year.

World Tennis tournament, Rotterdam
Copa AT&T, Buenos Aires
Kroger St. Jude, Memphis
Dubai Open
Copa Colsanitas, Bogota
And Britain's Tim Henman returns to the court after a lengthy lay-off with a shoulder injury - he will take on Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic in the first round on Tuesday.

Buenos Aires plays host to some of the world's best clay-courters at the Copa AT&T.

Carlos Moya will be the man to beat, although Chile's Fernando Gonzalez is a threat and Wimbledon runner-up David Nalbandian heads a strong Argentine contingent.

The week's other tournament takes place in Memphis and features the new generation of American players, with Andy Roddick leading the field at the Kroger St Jude.

Jame Blake and Todd Martin will also hope to benefit from home advantage, while Mark Philippoussis and Paradorn Srichaphan should make the latter stages.

Justine Henin-Hardenne
Henin-Hardenne has struggled recently
The Kroger St Jude is one of the few tournaments to have both a men's and women's event, although the women's line-up is less impressive.

South African Amanda Coetzer and Italy's Silvia Farina Elia should provide the main opposition to Americans Lisa Raymond and Alexandra Stevenson.

The main event on the women's tour sees some of the game's big names get the chance to claim a title without the world's top three in attendance at the Dubai Open.

With the Williams sisters and Kim Clijsters absent, Justine Henin-Hardenne and Jennifer Capriati in particular will be keen to find some better form.

Monica Seles and defending champion Amelie Mauresmo complete the top four seeds.

Elsewhere, Colombia's Fabiola Zuluaga will be looking to retain her title at the Copa Colsanitas in Bogota.
