McLean set for St Mirren
Scott McLean in action
Scott McLean's chances have been limited this season
As the transfer window draws to a close, Scottish clubs have been adding to their squads for their respective promotion or relegation battles.

St Mirren have completed the signing of Partick Thistle striker Scott McLean on Thursday.

McLean put pen to paper on an 18-month deal to bring to an end an on-off saga, which has been dragging on for most of the month.

Mark Roberts and Stuart Taylor are the latest additions to First Division leaders Falkirk's squad.

Alloa have signed Dundee goalkeeper Derek Souter on loan until the end of the season.

Second Division Raith Rovers completed the signing of young South African midfielder Marco Correia until the end of the season on Wednesday night.

Brechin have taken Dunfermline's goalkeeping coach Scott Thomson on loan, while Cowdenbeath have lost on-loan striker Derek Riordan and defender Paul Hilland, who have returned to Hibs.

But they have taken defender Elliot Smith on loan from Hearts and hope to add one or two further signings before the transfer deadline.

In the Third Division, Stirling Albion have signed former Rangers and Doncaster Rovers keeper after Iain Turner's recent move to Everton.
