Newport Gwent Dragons booked their place semi-final place - but only after improving in the second-half. Dragons full-back Martyn Thomas, back from a serious leg injury, crashed over twice in the left corner to help them seal a convincing victory. The Pool Two leaders took the lead early on when outside-half Matthew Jones kicked a 20-metre penalty. And the Gwent side went on to win with the Scarlets managing just three Dan Evans penalties. Scarlets' injury problems continued with captain Phil John stretchered off with a leg injury.
