Bath wing Matt Banahan puts in a high tackle on Scarlets wing Lee Williams |
Bath recovered from a 15-0 half-time deficit to seal a pre-season friendly win at Parc y Scarlets. Scarlets centre Jonathan Davies opened the scoring, wing Lee Williams nabbed the second try and Daniel Evans notched a penalty to add to his conversion. Matt Carraro set up Danny Grewcock for a try on the wing to begin the Bath fight back, before Josh Turnbull's 74th-minute sin-bin proved decisive. A penalty try quickly followed, then Joe Maddock got the winning try. The teams meet again in a reverse friendly fixture in Bath on Friday.
