Thomas has eight Wales caps and is a Heineken Cup winner

Ambitious Neath RFC have signed former Wales back-rower Nathan Thomas, following his release by the Scarlets.

Thomas, 33, a former Heineken Cup winner with Bath who has eight caps, follows Wales internationals Nathan Brew and Kevin Morgan to the Gnoll.

The All Blacks have also signed former Wales Sevens winger Alec Jenkins, 22, from London Welsh.

"We are pleased with two more quality signings for an exciting campaign," said Neath chairman Geraint Hawkes.

"The signing of three international players is an indication of our ambitions for Neath rugby.
