Moves to demand a special meeting of the Welsh Rugby Union's clubs over the handling of national coach Mike Ruddock's exit are underway in Gwent. The signatures of just 10 clubs are needed to force an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Union.
It is believed that a motion of no confidence in the board of directors could be put forward.
Newbridge president Idris McCarthy says some clubs are unhappy with a lack of control over major decisions.
That includes changes in league set-ups, not just issues over Ruddock's resignation.
