Horsman's scrummaging power on the tight-head is well acknowledged |
Wales tight-head Chris Horsman made a scoring return for Worcester in their friendly win over Calvisano on Friday. The English-born prop, 28, came into the Wales team last autumn after qualifying by residency, but has been out since January with an ankle injury.
He played a key role in the win over Australia, but in his absence Ospreys tight-head Adam Jones has impressed.
Horsman scored one of eight tries in the Warriors' 52-21 win, Ryan Powell and Gavin Quinnell also impressing.
But scrum-half Powell - who moved from Cardiff Blues in the summer - went off with an ankle injury that could keep him out of the start of the season.
