The Ospreys are considering citing Munster scrum-half Peter Stringer after the table-topping league clash between the sides at Musgrave Park. Ospreys No 8 Ryan Jones was sent off for a stamp on Donncha O'Callaghan, but they say Stringer should also be punished for booting Andy Newman.
"It seems a case of double standards," said Ospreys manager Derwyn Jones.
They will review video of their 13-9 loss before deciding Jones' punishment and whether to cite Stringer.
The row follows controversy in the Heineken Cup clash between the two sides in October, where the Irish won 18-20 at The Gnoll.

Ospreys wing Richard Mustoe was banned for 12 weeks for a stamp in that encounter. The west Glamorgan side countered by citing Munster prop Marcus Horan for punching and for racial abuse in the game.
Munster were furious at the move, and were vindicated when a disciplinary panel cleared Horan of all charges.
Last Saturday's fiery league clash will heighten tensions between the sides ahead of their 8 January meeting in Thomond Park, a game that is likely to decide the winners of Heineken Cup Pool Four.
But Welsh international Ryan Jones may miss that game as he could expect a ban of a similar length to Mustoe's for his dismissal.

"Ryan is disappointed that he let the boys down, but you can't excuse what he did, if he did it," Derwyn Jones told the South Wales Evening Post. "We will be looking at the video evidence and we will then decide whether to take internal action."
Ospreys head coach Lyn Jones remains confident that his side can become the first team to win a Heineken Cup game at Thomond Park, though.
"January doesn't hold any demons for us, Munster are not God's gift to rugby," he said.
"They are just human beings, they make mistakes like everybody else and they get things wrong, you just need to apply a bit of pressure."
Jones said of the Ryan Jones dismissal: "He was punched and reacted in an incorrect manner and we're going to give him a kick up the backside for that."
