Former Wales centre Leigh Davies could return as an Ospreys player next season following a year abroad. The 28-year-old ended his contract as Scarlets captain last June, going back-packing as he rested a knee injury.
"We have had a chat with Leigh and if he is fit he would be a benefit for any side," Ospreys team manager Derwyn Jones told the Wales on Sunday.
"It depends how he is physically and if he still wants to play the game. He's too young to write off."
Davies is currently in Thailand, but he has been given a fitness programme to follow by the Ospreys whilst on his travels.
The Neath-Swansea side are thought to have set a deadline of April to decide whether they want to take him on.
