A completely new board of directors has assumed control at Pontypridd rugby football club. An extraordinary general meeting at the club on Thursday night voted to de-select the whole existing board.
Former Pontypridd chief executive Cennydd Thomas is one of the men to assume the 12 board seats.
Shareholders of Pontypridd Rugby Limited - the parent company - will learn more about future plans after another meeting in a month's time.
The 12 new directors are: Jack Bayliss; Guto Davies; Roger Davies; Roger Davies; Theresa Davies; Mike Edwards; Peter Howells; Alun Jones; Brian Morton; Steve Reardon; Perry Stephens; Cennydd Thomas.
Pontypridd RFC has had to deal with serious financial difficulties, even being forced to relinquish the club's half-stake in the Celtic Warriors regional side.
