Scotland international stand-off Duncan Hodge is rejoining Edinburgh Rugby from Leeds Tykes.

The 30-year-old has signed up on a two-year deal, beginning in June. He had been with Leeds for two seasons and has 26 caps for Scotland.

Hodge said: "I enjoyed being down in Leeds but it's great to be coming home and I can't wait to play in front of the Gunners supporters again."

"This is a great signing for us," added Edinburgh coach Frank Hadden.

"After a season blighted by injury, Duncan is raring to go. The Edinburgh fans will undoubtedly enjoy seeing one of the best strikers of a rugby ball back in our colours.

"His experience in the midfield will be invaluable to us and I believe the presence of both Duncan and Phil Godman in our squad gives us great balance and completely different options in attack."
