Rawlinson lowdown on Saints star

Greg Rawlinson first full season at Warriors

Worcester Warriors' Greg Rawlinson says he is aware of the threat posed by Northampton's Carlos Spencer ahead of Sunday's clash at Franklin's Gardens.

Giant second row Rawlinson played alongside fly-half Spencer for Auckland Blues and says he is a class player.

"If you give him time and space he is very dangerous," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"So you have to try to get into his face as he doesn't like that, it's just a matter of stopping his space."

Rawlinson says he is looking forward to starting a full season with Worcester.

The former All Black joined the Warriors after the start of last season and admits it took him time to settle into the side.

"The game in England is different to the style I got used to in New Zealand, mainly because of the weather conditions and the muddy grounds they have to play on here."

There's full commentary on the game on Sunday on BBC Hereford and Worcester on Worcestershire Fm frequencies in a Rugby Special from 1305 BST, and online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
