Chris Latham played 99 times for the Queensland Reds |
Worcester Warriors full-back Chris Latham believes the new laws coming into the English game will make a big difference to Premiership clubs. New signing Latham has played under the Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) in the Super 14 competition. "They are fantastic, they are something I encourage fans to be patient with," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "They'll see a big difference in the first five minutes, in the speed of the game, the ball's in play quicker." The former Queensland Reds man continued: "I think looking at some of the players we have at Worcester it will suit the guys over here far better than it does in the Super 14. "I think supporters and sponsors will only see positive things, the games will become a lot more open, and the fans should look forward to seeing the way the game flows." Worcester Warriors are playing in the Middlesex Sevens on Saturday and there will be reports from Twickenham on BBC Hereford & Worcester throughout the day.
