Shane Drahm set for possible Moseley loan move |
Worcester Warriors fly-half Shane Drahm could be joining Moseley for the rest of the season. Drahm, who is out of favour at Sixways, will be leaving at the end of the season to play in Japan.
Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he has been asked if Drahm can go on loan.
"Moseley have inquired," said Ruddock. "And so have a number of other clubs. If he wants to go out on loan I would not have a problem with it."
Drahm has not figured in the Worcester first team since the home defeat against Harlequins at the end of December, and played for the 'A' team against Leeds on Monday.
Ruddock says Drahm is thinking over the move but has yet to make a decisison.
"If he feels it will benefit him I have no problem," said Ruddock. "But we would have the option of recalling him if needed.
"We have had several players out on loan to Division One clubs this season and it has served us well.
"Several players have been with Pertemps Bees, and Matt Cox has played at Doncaster."
Drahm and Drew Hickey will leave Sixways at the end of the season to play for Kubota Spears.
