Worcester Warriors prop Chris Horsman is on the way back, and says he will be fitter than ever when he does return to action. Horsman has not played since injuring a shoulder at Leeds in October but has been put through a punishing schedule.
"With my injury I have still been able to train and work on my anaerobic and aerobic fitness," he said.
Director or rugby Mike Ruddock says Horsman will look forward to resuming contact work after so much running.
He told BBC Hereford and Worcester that Horsman had put in a lot of non-contact work.
"Keir Hansen and his staff are 'beasting' him daily, two or three times a day," said Ruddock.
"With any of the injured crew they can't wait for the green light to get back into the technical stuff."
The club have not yet set a date for his return. And Horsman says he actually sympathises with Tevita Taumoepeau, who has taken his place.
"When I am in and around the club I often see Tevita Taumoepeau, and I feel really sorry for him.
"As a tighthead, it is difficult to play 80 minutes every week like he has had to. I just wish I could get out there and give him some support."
All the Warriors players are back in training this week after a mini-break, as they build up to Sunday's Guinness Premiership clash against Saracens at Vicarage Road.
