Scottish international winger Simon Danielli is to stay at Ulster for a third season.

Danielli has signed a one-year contract extension while prop Bryan Young has penned a fresh two-year deal which will keep him at Ravenhill until 2011.

Ulster have also announced the signing of Gloucester born lock Dan Tuohy from Exeter Chiefs.

The Irish-qualified 23-year-old will arrive in the province for pre-season training ahead of the 2009-10 campaign.

"Dan is an impressive young player," said Ulster coach Matt Williams.

"He has been on Ulster's radar for a while now, and I am delighted we have finally signed him.

"He has come through a strong academy system in the Guinness Premiership, and been constantly a first-rate player."

Danielli's new deal is a boost for Ulster as it had been reported that the 29-year-old would be moving back home to Edinburgh at the end of the current season.

He missed the start of this campaign because of a knee injury, returning to the side in late November.
