Biggs is looking forward to the reception from the Gloucester fans
Newcastle wing Tom Biggs is confident he can handle the intimidating atmosphere of Gloucester's Kingsholm crowd in Saturday's Premiership clash.
Supporters in Gloucester's Shed stand have a reputation for being vocal but Biggs is looking forward to facing the banter from the crowd.
"You've got to smile and laugh, the more banter you get the more respect they have," he told BBC Newcastle.
"I'll definitely be listening and I'm sure they'll have some good lines."
Falcons had a rude awakening in the Premiership last weekend, with their run of three consecutive wins stopped in its tracks by a 28-8 thumping at home by Northampton.
And the former Leeds Tykes winger admitted he and his players are determined to set a platform for Falcons success during the Christmas period.
"Going into the last Premiership game before the two-week break in Europe, before we play Leeds at Christmas it will be great to get a win down at Gloucester," said Biggs.
"The European competition is a different kind of competition, the pressure will be off a little bit, but it's still one we want to win because there's a Heineken Cup place up for grabs.
"It's important that we finish off this block of three Premiership games with a win after the disappointment of last week."
