Clegg has been out of the Falcons first team recently

Newcastle Falcons fly-half Rory Clegg will make his Barbarians bow in the East Midlands Mobbs Memorial Match against Bedford Blues XV on Tuesday.

Clegg, 19, is also joined by Falcons development player Ross Sampson, currently with Tynedale, in the squad.

The match honours Lt Col Edgar Mobbs, a former England wing who was killed leading an assault on an enemy machine gun post at Passchendale in July 1915.

A wreath-laying ceremony will also be held at the Embankment in Bedford.
