Hudson has England Saxons honours |
Newcastle Falcons will sign London Irish lock James Hudson on a two-year deal when his contract with the Exiles expires at the end of the season. The 27-year-old will replace Leicester-bound Geoff Parling and Falcons head coach Steve Bates says he is delighted with the acquisition. "James is a proven performer at Guinness Premiership level," he said. "He is a class operator who knows what it is all about and he will be a quality addition to our squad." The England Saxons lock has made 67 appearances in three seasons for the Exiles, including 19 starts and three tries this season, after joining the club from Premiership rivals Bath. | 606: DEBATE |
Falcons have parted company with three players so far this season, lock Geoff Parling to Leicester, prop David Wilson to Bath and back-rower Phil Dowson to Northampton.
