Guinness Premiership side Newcastle Falcons have named their academy squads for next week's Under-18 and Under-16 tours of Holland.

Coached by Mark Laycock, Keith Robinson, Ed Midcalf and Tom Wilkinson, both sides will be in action on Wednesday, 27 August against Castricum.

Junior academy manager Mark Laycock said: "Last year's Under-18s tour to Ireland was a great success.

"The trip forms an important part of the players' ongoing development."

Upon their return from the Netherlands, the Under-16s squad will then travel to Leicester Tigers for a tournament including a host of other Premiership teams, with Blake Robinson being added to the group for the Leicester leg of the trip.
