Perry believes the players can turn around their poor form |
Newcastle Falcons lock Andy Perry is adamant the squad has not been affected by the upheavals surrounding the club. The departure of director of rugby John Fletcher, coupled with a string of losses, has put pressure on the Falcons but Perry says all is well in the camp. "It's real confidence. When we're on form we can beat any team in the country," he told BBC Radio Newcastle. "We need to maintain a positive attitude and go out there and do our talking on the pitch." | What we need to do is get behind the guys, get together and do the best we can |
Perry also admitted the players have acknowledged they need to improve on the pitch if they are to do themselves justice this season. "It's difficult. What we need to do is get behind the guys, get together and do the best we can," he said. "The responsibility is on the players. We have to pull together and get round each other and put in the performances."
