Ibanez demands more at Leinster

Rafael Ibanez
Ibanez took over the captaincy of Wasps at the start of the season

London Wasps captain Rafael Ibanez says he wants the victory over Castres to be just the sign of things to come.

Wasps beat the French side 25-11 in their opening Heineken Cup game for only their second win of the season.

Ibanez told BBC London 94.9: "We all needed that kind of performance. It's a really important win for all of us even if we didn't get a bonus point.

"There's no way we can relax now. We all know that (Leinster) will be a massive game for us."

Wasps, who have twice won the Heineken Cup, go to Dublin on Saturday trailing Leinster by one point in group two after the Irishmen achieved a bonus-point victory over Edinburgh in the first round.
