Wasps fly-half Dave Walder will be out for three months after breaking his leg in the win over Worcester on Saturday.

The 29-year-old had surgery after fracturing his left fibula and will not now be able to play for North Harbour in New Zealand in the summer.

"We are all very disappointed for Dave, especially as he has been playing probably the best rugby of his career," said Wasps boss Ian McGeechan.

"His loss is clearly a blow as we face the run-in to the end of the season."
