Steffon Armitage will make his senior debut against Italy at Twickenham. |
London Irish stars Delon and Steffon Armitage will become the first brothers to play together for England since 1995 when they face Italy on Saturday. Both have been named by Martin Johnson for England's Six Nations opener. And Nick Kennedy starts at lock with Shane Geraghty on the bench, setting a record for London Irish. "This is a great day for the players and the club. It reflects what our team has achieved this season," said Exiles' head coach Toby Booth. " I'm delighted for the players and on behalf of all connected with the club wish them well on Saturday." With Steffon making his debut, the Armitages become the first brothers to play in the same England team since Rory and Tony Underwood.
