Booth's London Irish have won nine of their last ten matches. |
London Irish coach Toby Booth is demanding his players continue with the hard work which has taken them to the top of the Premiership table. Booth, who was named coach of the month for November, has seen his team win their last four league matches. He told BBC Radio Berkshire: "It's a reflection of the work put in by players, back-room staff and everyone involved at the club. "The hard work that has got us to this point needs to continue." Irish were unbeaten throughout November, despite missing several key players on international duty and Booth said he will not complain about the absence of his international players. "For London Irish to be on the top-table consistently, international call-ups are something we'll have to deal with," said Booth. "I'm all for it because it fuels individual ambition which is good for the team," he added. Irish are next in action away at Dax in the European Challenge Cup on Friday and Booth said he will be sending his strongest available team. "We're on a two-pronged attack - Premiership and European Challenge Cup. It's important to maintain our momentum after a very good start with maximum bonus points," said Booth. "We have to win away from home to maintain control of where we want to be." Dax versus London Irish kicks off at 1800 GMT on Friday 5 December and is live on BBC Radio Berkshire.
