Booth said Kingston Park was a difficult place to come and win.
London Irish head coach Toby Booth put victory against Newcastle Falcons down to the dominance of the Exiles' pack.
Irish won the match 24-8, with all three of their tries coming from back-row trio Richard Thorpe, Steffon Armitage and Declan Danaher.
Booth told BBC Radio Berkshire: "We were dominant throughout at the scrum and we really cashed in.
"Even on opposition ball, the back row is in the game and those boys love to scrap it out on the floor."
He added: "We created a lot but we weren't as clinical as we'd have like to have been, but a win away from home keeps the momentum and keeps us on track."
Booth also singled out Nick Kennedy for praise - discarded by England earlier in the week despite a try-scoring international debut against the Pacific Islanders.
He said: "We were pleased to have him and he proved in the second line-out - when he pinched their ball - just how important he is.
"We're delighted for Nick that he coped with the scars of being omitted and performed very well."
Booth now has an anxious wait to see if Kennedy is selected for England this weekend against South Africa. He may also be without Bob Casey again who is with the Ireland squad.
Danaher added another Kingston Park try to his two from last season.
But Booth said he would be happy enough to be without them.
"I always want all my individuals to play international rugby because if they're individually driven, they're going to perform for the club," he said.
"They know the club is what's important and the vehicle to help them get there. They love this club, people like Kendo.
"We'll wait to see what comes out and then roll up our sleeves and march on and be fully prepared for Saracens next week."
