London Irish will take on reigning Heineken Cup champions Munster on 29 August at Musgrave Park in Cork. The match will be their final friendly ahead of the new season which begins on 6 September. Irish will play Nottingham at Sunbury on 15 August as well as fielding a strong side for the Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham the following day. The Premiership club are also in discussions about a third fixture to be played on 22 August. Forwards coach Toby Booth said: "There is nothing like real match action for putting pre-season preparations to the test. "These fixtures will enable our squad to measure themselves against competitive opposition and give our supporters a taste of what they can expect when the season starts."
