Outgoing Bradford Bulls chief executive Gareth Davies has joined Llanelli Scarlets as commercial director. The 39-year-old spent just 18 months at the top-flight rugby league club before leaving at the end of the 2006 season.
He previously worked for Reebok, one of the world's leading sports clothing firms, and was responsible for dealing with the Welsh Rugby Union.
"We are delighted, sales and marketing will be Gareth's brief," said Scarlets chief executive Stuart Gallacher.
