King scored three tries and created many more in September |
Llanelli Scarlets centre Regan King has won the inaugural Magners League Wales Player of the Month award. The once-capped All Black, 26, was the unanimous choice of the voting panel, made up of the Welsh rugby media.
King, who scored three league tries in September, praised Scarlets director of rugby Phil Davies for the style of rugby he has brought to Stradey Park.
"I'm enjoying playing in a world-class back line - competition and spirit within the squad is strong," said King.
"It's nice to be recognised for such an award and I hope it's one of many rewards to come this season."
