Leicester Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill is still hopeful of bringing in some new faces to the squad but says the club will not panic buy.

He told BBC Radio Leicester: "We're still looking at one or two players.

"We've got a bit of money to maybe add to the squad but we're seeing what's out there and what comes through.

"We're in no rush to spend that money and if we go into the season with the squad we've already got then I'm reasonably happy."

Cockerill has previously said the playing budget will be tight next season.

England internationals Lewis Moody, Ben Kay and Sam Vesty are all leaving Welford Road in the summer.

But England Saxons captain George Skivington has already been recruited from Wasps and fellow forward Thomas Waldrom will also be joining.

Argentina international winger Horacio Agulla will be another new face, having agreed a two-year deal from Brive.
