Leicester flanker Tom Croft pushing for more game time

Fit-again Leicester Tigers and England flanker Tom Croft is hoping to get some more game-time, starting in Saturday's Heineken Cup tie against Viadana.

Croft has been named in England's Six Nations squad despite only just returning from a knee injury.

And he told BBC Radio Leicester he is eager to get back playing regularly.

"Every player wants to play every week. I got 25 minutes at the weekend and it felt good, so I'm pushing to get more game-time and get fitness," he said.

"I've got to give thanks to our backroom staff who have got me back ahead of schedule."

The Tigers face two crucial games to stay in this season's Heineken Cup with the visit of Viadana and then a trip to Wales to take on Ospreys.
