Gonzalez has won two full caps for the Pumas

Leicester Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill says Argentina wing Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino will sign this week.

Gonzalez, 23, and French full-back Nicolas Jeanjean have both been on trial with the club.

But money is tight and Cockerill had feared that could ruin their chances of bringing in new faces.

However, he told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've agreed terms so that will be finalised this week. He's a young lad with a lot of talent."

Gonzalez, who has two full international caps, can also play at full-back.

Cockerill added: "I'm delighted that we have another quality player in there.

"He's a little bit unknown so there's a slight risk there, but we think he's a really good guy and we've big hopes for him."
