Meyer took over at Leicester in June |
Leicester Tigers head coach Heyneke Meyer has said he expects the battle for a Heineken Cup quarter-final place to go down to the wire in Pool Three. The Tigers are level with Ospreys at the top of the table after losing 26-20 to Perpignan on Sunday. Meyer told BBC Radio Leicester: "It's always been a tough pool - there are four top teams. "Luckily we got the bonus point against Perpignan but there is still a lot of rugby to be played." All Blacks fly-half Dan Carter scored 16 points in his debut for the French side. Leicester's next Heineken Cup game is at home to Treviso on 17 January.
