Chuter says Tigers need to hold their nerve in EDF Energy final (Getty Images) |
England hooker George Chuter has said he is worried about Leicester Tigers' inconsistent form. He told BBC Radio Leicester they must be at their best to beat Welsh side Ospreys in the EDF Energy Cup final. The 31-year-old said: "We had a tough game this time last year against Ospreys and we won it in the end with a lot of character and mental strength. "We need to play even better, Ospreys have come on in leaps and bounds and are a genuine force in Europe." Tigers have lost four of their last seven games and have slipped to fourth in the Premiership after their defeat at home to Wasps. They are also out of the European Cup. Chuter adeed:"It's going to be a real tough game, it will go to the wire. "We managed to raise our game against Wasps in the semi-final so we'll just have to make sure we raise it again for the final."
